A Dores’ home at the most romantic and most extreme tourism object in Latvia – by the aerial cable-way in Sigulda.
Sigulda is Latvia’s Mecca of tourism. This city is famous for its colourful and awe-inspiring autumn and, of course, the aerial cable-way that gives breath-taking view over the Gauja ancient valley, three medieval castles, bobsleigh track and the Gauja bridge. If that does not sound exciting enough, one can bungee jump over the middle of the river and enjoy the view while being upside-down. It is estimated that over the 40 years since the building of the aerial one-way it has carried 6 million passengers across the river. Dores Factory is looking forward to bringing joy to multiple families, friends and bungee jumpers for at least another 40 years.
The first phase of the wooden station is currently under construction – the building will house a ticket office, souvenir shop, premises for employees and a small cafe. The second phase of the construction will expand the cafe, opening its doors to more hungry visitors. The log house will enclose the old stone building on the top of the hill; the old building will be preserved since it serves as a counterweight to the aerial cable-way, holding its weight. The cable alone weighs 50 tons!

We are proudly taking part in recreating this beloved location that is a favourite destination both for us and visitors of Latvia.
